Pot Limit Omaha was the big game on Saturday livestream from Poker At The Lodge. The $25/$25 PLO game got almost immediately out of hand with a triple straddle and the action never really calmed down from that point on.

The game was the last of four live streams that went out last week. Where the other games were the usual Texas hold'em (mostly $5/$10), the final stream of the weekend mixed things up. With the change of game came a few new faces and a whole lot of four-card action.

Start With A Bang

The game was supposed to be a $25/$25 game, but right off the bat, the players straddled it three times. Four players called the $200 straddle and San, in the lowjack, checked his option with AJ77.

San picked up middle set on the 796 flop and was figuring out his move when Esther started betting into him. She made it $600 to go with a flopped ten-high straight with 101082 in the hole. Kuz to her left potted it up to $2,825 with the same straight (AJ108).

With $2,200 in his stack, San was looking at an all in and his trips can't have been looking good. However, he didn't let that stop him, and in went the chips.

Now Mo woke up with the AQ99 for the top set of nines and in went another stack. Esther moved over the top making it $4,800 for Kuz who called making the total pot into a mountain of chips $14,700 tall.

The K on the turn just consolidated Kuz's lead, but a 6 on the river paired the board and gave Mo the winning full house. However, as the shortest stack in this multiway hand, Mo collected just $6,450 of that mountain, San got about a grand back, and Kuz split the remainder with Esther.

Chop The Side Pot?

The first hand set the scene for the nexst four hours of high-stakes maneuvering. The players bet, raised, and straddled their way through dozens of all-in pots with the action peaking near the end of the stream with four players calling the $200 straddle. Mo then potted it with KKJ9 to $1,425 from the $100 straddle position (UTG+1) and three players called.

The stacks were pretty deep at this point, but Mo had them all covered with $12,400 in his stack.

The flop was 10KJ giving San bottom set with 101073 in the hole. San moved all in for $3,950.

Mo hit top set and outs to a straight if a queen came. However, he just called. To his left, Bulls had flopped the nut straight with AQ54 and he moved all in for $7,950. Black King got out of the way, folding his A965, and Mo called.

The pot of $25,825 was the biggest of the night and Bulls was a massive favorite to win the lot. After a debate about whether they could run it once for the main and chop the side if it wasn't scooped, the dealer called for the floor.

Eventually, the floor ruled that there would be no chop and the dealer was allowed to turn the turn and river the river putting out the 5 and 2 respectively. Bulls's ace-high straight held and he raked in the whole $25,825 pot — the biggest of the evening.

Final Results
