Carsten Heidemann is a German poker player best known for winning Event #84: $600 Ultra Stack No-Limit Hold'em at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas.
Heidemann has played poker since 2009 but mainly on a recreational level with friends. In 2024, Heidemann agreed with his wife that he would play in the WSOP Main Event, a dream come true. After busting the Main Event on Day 1d, despite flopping a set of aces, Heidemann bought into the $600 Ultra Stack event. A couple of days later, he came out on top, and received $343,010 and a WSOP bracelet.
