The WSOP Online Main Event on GGPoker is fast approaching its conclusion, with only two more starting flights scheduled before Day 2 gets underway on Monday, October 2.

The sixth Day 1 flight of the Main Event wrapped up yesterday and saw a host of Brazilian players make it through to the next stage while "Braniak6388" bagged best out of the 56 advancing entries.

Another bracelet was also awarded, with the United States' Benjamin Miner going all the way in the $5,000 buy-in Short Deck Championship to become the latest GGPoker WSOP Online winner.

Campana, Ramos and Nascimento Bag Big in Day 1f

A further 380 players took to the virtual felt for Day 1f of the WSOP Online Main Event to bring the overall entries to 3,265. Just 56 of those entries survived the 15 Level starting flight and will join the 437 players who have already booked their seat for Monday's Day 2.

Yesterday's field added another $1,805,000 into the prize pool to bring the current tally to $15,508,750, which is $4,491,250 shy of the $20 million guarantee.

Day 1f was a fruitful venture for a host of Brazilian poker players. Eder Campana (845,058), Dennys Ramos (713,493) and Murilo "RaiseBluff" Nascimento (678,634) all finished inside the top ten chip counts. They were joined by seven more of their compatriots in making it over the first hurdle, which included the likes of Eduardo Pires (637,358), Pedro Garagnani (393,042) and Michel Dattani (203,192).
