2024 WSOPC Playground

For the second time this year, the fantastic Playground in Montreal, Canada, is set to be crammed to capacity with poker players from far and wide between August 19 to September 3 because the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) is in town. The Playground has hosted dozens of prestigious live poker events over the years, but WSOPC Playground is an entirely different beast.

The bustling schedule features 15 WSOPC ring-awarding events with buy-ins from $250 to $3,300, and each of those ring events boasts a guarantee in its prize pool. The largest of those guarantees, a whopping $1,500,000, is reserved for the $1,700 Main Event, which will help Playground award no less than $3 million by the time the last person out of the building turns off the lights.

The Colossus kicks off WSOPC Playground on August 19, the $300 buy-in event guaranteeing a cool $500,000. Players have the choice of 11 starting flights in The Colossus between August 19-25, with the worthy champion capturing the series' first ring and massive top prize on August 25.

All 15 events will be well-attended, and becoming their champion will require players to bring out their A-Game. Events such as the $400 Monster Stack, $800 Mystery Bounty, and the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em $100,000 guaranteed are nailed on to be fiercely fought over.

High-stakes specialists have a two-day High Roller running from September 1-2. It costs $3,300 to enter and guarantees $250,000 in the pot. Late registration in the $3,300 High Roller remains open until the start of Day 2.

$1,500,000 Guaranteed WSOPC Playground Main Event

The $1,700 buy-in, $1,500,000 guaranteed WSOPC Playground Main Event is the showpiece tournament on the schedule and the one event everyone wants to win. A trio of Day 1s are available, each with unlimited re-entries until the end of the 12th 40-minute level. Players can play in as many Day 1s as they wish, but only their largest stack is put in play on Day 2 if they progress more than once.

It is worthwhile noting that Day 1A has a capacity of 162, Day 1B has a capacity of 315, and Day 1C can accommodate 450 players. There will be an alternate list, but try to register for your ideal flight sooner rather than later because seats in the Main Event will be in high demand.
